Tim Burton’s ALICE in Wonderland

I was very satisfied with his work; He made Lewis Carroll (The author) proud!
The funny thing it wasn’t really the Alice in Wonderland we grew up with, but more on a combination between both books by Lewis Carroll; Alice in Wonderland and its sequel Through the looking-Glass.

Both books were mixed, mashed, tossed to create this Successful movie.

You can read the full plot of the movie here, but I would prefer you actually watch it at the movie house. This is the type of movie you want to see on the silver screen not on a DVD.

All through out the movie, I was pretty amaze on the make up magic they had done with John Depp (The Mad Hatter) and Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen). Such masterpiece really deserves Applause!

John Depp (The Mad Hatter)

Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen)

That is why it’s no surprise that the movie ranked number one in the 3D record basing on the estimated Sales over the week (Friday to Sunday) on US and CANADIAN Theater.
Full Story here

Over all, I did not regret watching it on the big screen; it was worth the effort and every penny i spent including for POP CORN and Large Ice tea from Taters (which I think has the best Sour Cream and Mexican Barbecue flavored popcorn in CEBU).

Maybe because it woke up the inner child in me, I have always liked Fairy tale stories and i doubt i was able to contain myself during the entire movie. I remember tart telling me that i was too excited and that i was smiling through the entire movie and did not pay attention to what he was saying.

I said effort since I conveniently forgot my SureSeat password; since I want to get the best seats in the house. I had to call up the theater to ask if a reservation is possible and Thank GOD since AYALA center’s Theater system is fully automated, so you can buy tickets days ahead! (I LOVE IT!) So during my Break, I have to walk all the way to AYALA CENTER CEBU to buy the ticket! Some people might think that’s just normal well for me it was a whole lot of effort for a movie.

But like what i said But, It was all worth it! :)
