Power of Words
… Of all the weapons of destruction that man could invent, the most terrible –and the most powerful –was the word. Daggers and spears left traces of blood; arrows could be seen at a distance. Poisons were detected in the end and avoided… but the word managed to destroy without leaving clues.
~Paulo Coelho
I would just like to share to you guys one of my most favorite phrases from one of Paulo Coelho’s book.
Personally I agree with this saying, especially true in Philippine history. Our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal knew better than to fight fire with fire. He took a different approach, he used words.
The Bad thing about this is sometimes we do not know if we already hurt the person.
As what Paulo Coelho said, there is no physical evidence of hurt (Blood, bruises etc.)
Such power is within all of us; it is up to us if we use it for a good or evil
So as an advice use wisely...
