Books over Beer

After I watched Alice in wonderland last weekend and after it woke up my inner child.

We had quick bite to eat and strolled around the terraces and just talked

A completely different Saturday Night experience for me..

Since the beginning of time, my Saturday nights are always spent having fun, dancing and drinking the night away. Sundays are spent nursing the hang over and complaining how time flies and we have to work tomorrow since its going to Monday.

Now I just want to stay at home, read a book or a DVD marathon (Home buddy!)

So we went into fully booked Ayala center and see if either of my anticipated book is already available.

Like the second book of Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Sea of Monsters) or Book 1 of Michael Scotts (the secret of the immortal Nicholas Flamel)

To my surprise, neither one was available and as per their Customer Service. It might be available in 2months. In 2 months! Yikes! So we roamed around and check what they have to offer and decided to have a little fun…

SINULOG

This January 16-17, 2009 (Sat-Sun) respectively, Cebu will celebrate the SINULOG.
One of the oldest celebrations in cebu dating back to the 15th century.
Devotees from all over the World (not just the Philippines) will flock to cebu in order to visit and fulfill their pledge to the Hold Child.

This weekend, the streets of Cebu will be filled with colorful Floats and Dancers with various colorful costumes from all over the Philippines.
